Sunday March 30th The Run will be led by Robin Brown and will leave Box Hill at 0930 for Sammy Miller's bike museum in the New Forest. The intention is to return to Box Hill by 4pm. There will be ample time to look around the museum which is a "must" for those not previously having done so but is, in any case, well worthwhile to make a repeat visit.
There is an excellent cafe at the museum. We will be stopping for a coffee break en route and the destination would be modified in the event of bad weather. Last minute arrivals welcome! Any South Coasters wanting to avoid a trip to Box Hill could meet up with us at Petworth-let me know.

JULY
UK WIZZ Tuesday 22nd to Friday 25th July FULL
NB: If you have not undertaken a RospaSmart Wizz before, we ask that you should have completed at least 4 training sessions before the trip. This is to ensure safety.
Here's an opportunity to join a European Wizz without having to show your passport! Having done this last year, we can vouch for a great biking experience, with four days of excellent roads, accommodation, food, and company.
This year's Welsh Wizz will take place from Tuesday 22nd to Friday 25th July, at the Bikers Retreat guest house in Dolgellau run by a biking couple, Nigel and Tiv. We will take all their rooms, meaning we're limited to 16-18 people in total. Cost is £180 each, for three days BB & evening meal, meaning we just have to buy our own lunch, petrol and beer.
We will all meet up earlyish on Tuesday morning, probably at Chieveley services on M4 west of Reading, and from there will ride an interesting route to North Wales. We have planned two full days riding around Dolgellau area, taking in some spectacular scenery on wonderful empty roads (only briefly marred by any new cart tracks Roger manages to unearth). We return on Friday by a suitable tortuous route to civilisation as we know it.
Check out the website link below, and let me know if you want to go, as I would like to confirm everything within the next week if possible.
I'll also be needing £100 deposits over the next month. Email me on my address below with any questions and with definite bookings. There are double rooms, twin rooms and some triples, so state your preference, plus any dietary requirements: allergies, vegetarians, fish aversion, etc.

Robin Brown is leading the July Ride
Start Point-Box Hill Car Park
Meeting Time 09:00
Briefing 09:15
Departure 09:30
Finish at end of day around 16:00
Robin's notes:
Our day will cover around 140 miles. We will be heading South and stop for coffee at Goodwood Airfield at approximately 1100. After a 30 minutes or so stop we will head off North West arriving at Arlsford Steam Railway Station for lunch and expect to be there around 1300. From here we will pass over Steep towards Petersfield and then via some back roads ending the run at the A24/A272 McD junction some time around 1600.
All members are welcome. You should be familiar with the marking system and if new to a Rospasmart Ride ensure you have read the marking and back-marker system on the website. Although I will probably recognise any new members please do make a point of speaking to me before 0930 if you have not been on a Rospa smart run before.
ThursdayJuly 31st 7.30 at Southgate
We have Traffic Sgt Paul Masterson and his sidekick coming along from Sussex Bikesafe to Southgate. Some of you will have come across Paul before, or at least heard of him. I am reliably informed that the evening will be entertaining - something akin to a road safety/motorcycling presentation being given by Morecambe & Wise !! Theatre Doors open & Usherettes will be in place at 7.30 at Southgate, 31.7.08
AUGUST
Monthly rideout, Sunday August 31st.
There will be 2 Ride Outs.
1. Peter Hayes will be leading the run and will start 9.00am for 9.30a.m. at McDonalds East Grinstead and arrive at Dungeness for 12.00pm for a radio active meal/snack. After lunch we can refill the bikes and head back to McDonalds East Grinstead and should be back for around 4.00pm.
2. Sam Davis will lead a Rideout, leaving Petersfield Services (McDonalds) at 1030. We will then head West via a mixture of A,B and C Class roads, passing through some of Hampshire's less known villages. We will head across in the Stockbridge direction before heading South East back towards Wickham. After 100 or so miles we will take lunch at the Horse and Jockey Pub around 1300, which serves an excellent range of food. Following a leisurely lunch we will head out and cover another 40-50 miles before finishing at the Portsdown Hill Burger Van around 1530-1600 (weather permitting.)
