1. Membership Costs
- Annual membership of RospaSmart £15
- First Year's joining Fee £8
- 6 Ride School Theory Sessions £5 per session = £30
That makes the first year's outlay £53, with subsequent annual membership renewal of £15 (correct as at January 2008)
2. Instructor Training Sessions
- £10 per session payable to the Instructor directly
All our Instructors are highly trained and approved by RoSPA. They give their services voluntarily at no charge to members, but in common with many other organisations we have a scheme for making donations towards their petrol and running costs as follows:-
We ask you to make a payment of £10 per training run towards the Instructor's expenses each time you go out. Otherwise, there are no other costs
- When under instruction on a one to one basis, the trainee donates £10 to the Instructor.
- When under instruction on a one Instructor to two trainees basis, each trainee donates £5 to the Instructor.
We are a voluntary training Group. Your Membership entitles you to get fully involved in all the group's activities, but please note that for safety reasons, criteria for Rideouts and Euro Wizzes are in place.
3. External Costs
RospaSmart prepare you to take the national RoSPA test.
The cost of taking the RoSPA test is £54 (correct as at January 2008), which is separately payable to RoSPA.
